Description

Come and have a go at monoprinting with some of our botanical samples in this 3 hour workshop. Different types of seaweed, ferns, grasses and leaves can be used in conjunction with a variety of inking and printing techniques to create beautiful layered and textured prints. Small delicate forms may contrast with large bold compositions. Perhaps in many colours or maybe minimal in black and gold. This is a great chance to get in the print room and have a play. Open to all abilities, this is an endlessly surprising print medium that produces beautiful results. All materials provided but feel free to bring some of your own dried and pressed plants!

Fantastic workshop in a lovely, well-equipped studio. Spike and Rosy are great and give exactly the right levels of tuition and support to complete beginners. It was amazing how creative we all got with this endlessly adaptable process in just 3 hours. Loved it!

    Fabulous course.

Suitable for beginners up to those with some previous experience. It started with an in-depth demonstration which left us free to experiment for the rest of the session, with help from Spike or Rosie whenever we needed it. It was great fun! Thoroughly enjoyable and definitely recommended.
