Description
A friendly, relaxed session designed for artists of all levels to meet and share ideas and skills. There will be a different theme each week and a look at different artistic and cultural references to discuss and inspire. Observational drawing will be a frequent starting point from which to develop work further in a variety of different mediums including printmaking techniques such as monoprinting, relief printing and basic intaglio. Sometimes we will draw from the landscape outside, sometimes from still life sets indoors, and occasionally from poetry and film. The briefs set each week are designed to spark ideas but are open to interpretation and personal exploration. All materials are included.

Well, I am still attending and love it. Have had a go at lino printing, mono printing, botanical drawing, collage and even a life class. There is something new each week and I already have a little portfolio of work. Highly recommended.
